Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Photographer Boxes, every order is carefully prepared, checked, and packed before it leaves our studio. Many of our products are made, assembled, personalized, or finished in-house, so our delivery times include both production time and shipping time.
Please read the information below before placing your order so you know what to expect.
Where orders ship from
All orders ship from our studio in Apex, North Carolina.

At this time, orders placed through our website are available for delivery within the United States only.
Production times
Production time is the time we need to prepare, make, personalize, check, and pack your order before it is handed to the shipping carrier.
Our usual production times are:
- Non-personalized boxes: 1 business day
- Personalized foil-stamped boxes: 3 business days
- USB drives without engraving: 1 business day
- Engraved USB drives: 2 business days
- Photo prints, where offered: 4 business days
- Custom orders: Quoted individually
- Bulk or large orders: Quoted individually
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
If your order includes multiple items with different production times, your order will usually ship once all items are ready. We do not usually split shipments.
Shipping times
After production is complete, standard delivery usually takes 3–5 business days within the United States.
Most orders are shipped using USPS Ground Advantage. We may use UPS or another suitable carrier where requested, required, or more appropriate for the order.
Please note that delivery times are estimates only. We work hard to dispatch orders within the stated production times, but once an order has been handed to the carrier, the final delivery timing is controlled by the shipping carrier.
Shipping rates
Shipping rates are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Our current website shipping rates are:
- Standard US shipping: $9.99
- Free standard US shipping: On orders over $75
- Express US shipping: $29.99
Express shipping speeds and availability may vary by location and carrier service. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Tracking information
All shipped orders include tracking where available.
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent automatically to the email address used at checkout. Tracking may take a short time to update after the shipping label has been created or scanned by the carrier.
Delivery estimates
Any delivery dates or delivery windows shown on our website, at checkout, or in tracking emails are estimates.
We aim to meet our stated production times and have a strong dispatch record, but we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date because carrier delays can occur after dispatch.
Carrier delays may happen because of weather, holidays, local service disruption, high seasonal volume, incorrect address details, or other issues outside our control.
Address changes
Please check your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If you need to change your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible. We can only make address changes before an order has shipped.
Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the address can be changed or redirected.
Photographer Boxes is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we may be able to resend it, but additional shipping charges may apply.
Lost or delayed packages
If your package appears to be delayed or lost, please contact us with your order number and tracking details. We will review the situation and work with you on a case-by-case basis.
In many cases, the carrier may require additional time to investigate a delayed package. We may ask you to allow a reasonable amount of time for tracking to update before a replacement or other resolution can be considered.
If tracking shows that an order has been delivered, but you cannot locate it, please check with household members, neighbors, building staff, mailrooms, parcel lockers, or your local carrier office. We will do our best to help, but we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
Damaged items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging
- Any other relevant details
Please keep the damaged item and packaging until we have reviewed the issue. We may need this information to assess the problem or submit a carrier claim.
If the item is confirmed to have arrived damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.
Busy periods and custom orders
During busy periods, holidays, product launches, high order volume, or large/custom orders, production times may be slightly longer than usual.
Custom, bulk, or unusually large orders will be quoted individually, including estimated production and delivery timing.
If you are ordering for a specific event, client deadline, wedding date, studio launch, or gift date, we recommend ordering as early as possible and contacting us before placing your order if timing is critical.
International shipping
At this time, our website is set up for delivery within the United States only.
We plan to offer wider international shipping in the future. Once international shipping is available through our website, international shipping rates, customs, duties, taxes, and delivery terms will be clearly shown before checkout.
